We've a night stay in Genting Highlands last weekend and it was awesome!
This is my first drive to top of the hill with my Getz 1.3 auto car and it wasn't bad at all! The only pressure was driving down the slope, it was a bit challenging for my car, as half way down, I can feel the brake was only 90% functional although it has been checked before the trip. I never felt that fear before even when I'm driving at 130-140 and the feeling was like sitting in a roller coaster with a rule...you are not allowed to yell out. OMG!!!
First day was the most enjoyable as it was not that packed as the usual weekends, my nieces and nephews enjoyed their day at the Theme Park while my sister and I, wondering around, discovering the place and catch a movie in the cinema at First World Plaza! We only make our way to the casino after the movie and I lost $100 at the table and win back $80 at the slot machine on the next day. Foods and beverages here is not my expectation, average, 5 out of 10 including the tastes and services.
Although we have insufficient time to visit the Chin Swee Temple, but we did enjoyed a great and cheap early dinner at one of the Chinese restaurant at Gohtong Jaya (half way the highlands). Believe me or not, the food here was cheap and tasty. We arrived home safely at 8pm and were completely exhausted.
